Rare Ordinary Thoughts

I have been craving for a stir fried asparagus for days now. No, I am not pregnant, but I think it’s because it’s harvest season now and I have taught myself to start craving for this green, fibrous vegetable come harvest time because the price of this really is at it’s off. Hehe… During peak season, this usually costs $3.98 to $4.75 per lb. here in our place and I just am not willing to pay for that price. [Waaaah poor frugal me!] Now I got the weekly ads from Jewel-Osco and Cubs Foods and the asparagus has gone down to $1.98 per lb., how’s that? So even if it’s this cold today, when swithart gets home from his class later this afternoon, I am uberly willing to go out and get a bulk to satisfy this craving aka confession of mine.
