Of Washing Dishes
Before Ma and Pa-in-law got here, I was the one who does the washing of dishes almost all the time. I didn’t mind though, because I know it’s part of my being a housewife. Though I must admit, back in my very own family, before I got married, washing dishes is a household task I wouldn’t do. Hehe… I cook, I do the laundry, I fold, I sweep, but washing dishes? That, I only do during parties at home or any events that entail a lot of dishes being stocked in the sink for washing. It’s not that I am lazy, but I don’t like my hands being wet for only a short time. Weird eh? Yeah, what I like is when I wash dishes, I like them to be many, not few. So now, here at home, with Ma and Pa-in-law around, I could almost never wash dishes because either MIL or FIL tends to wash whatever’s on the sink even if there’s only two or three. By the way, I just found out that our kitchen’s faucet is a Grohe brand. It’s a newly-installed faucet and I like it! You think it will make me wash dishes more often now? Hah!
