chatted with doc once again
It’s the second time that we’ve gotten hold of my doctor BIL after him having been away from the online world for so long because he is working at the ER of a public hospital in Cebu, Philippines and he has been working more than overtime; reason why he couldn’t find a chance to go online. Now though, he’s having his duty at a private hospital for one month so he was able to access the world wide web when he is not being called at the ER. Ma and Pa-in-law are the happiest to talk to him. There have been health conditions and experiences shared and Ma was contented to receive a doctor’s advice from her very own son about her hypertension these days. I was so disturbed though when BIL mentioned that there was a patient who recently died of an illness caused by asbestos and that, the family left behind was so helpless. I think the family badly needs someone to fight for them and help them claim what is theirs, unfortunately, access to a certain Mesothelioma lawyer I think is not that easy to find back in my home country so I have a feeling that the family will be left in uncertainty, like what usually happens back there. So sad.
