Excited!
It’s the thought of the weekend that I’m most excited at! First of all, I’m gonna be turning a year older on Sunday so that’s a reason enough for my excitement. Unlike many who dread each time they turn a year older, I am one of those few who adore such day. It’s always worth a celebration, not necessarily through abundant foods and luxurious presents, but through a happy heart.
Also, a friend of ours based in the UK is here in Point right now and we might be seeing each other tomorrow at church, if all things turn our well for them. She’s here for a two-week-vacation to see her fiance who lives here and I was thrilled to know as we talked each other on the phone earlier that this coming Wednesday, they’ll be flying to Las Vegas and get married there. Wow! Really awesome! That would mean she’d be moving here anytime soon! She only has to conquer the NCLEX and she’s good to come! (Yep, she’s a nurse in the UK.)
And one more thing, I am feeling ecstatic for swithart’s cousin who made it to the 2009 Philippine Bar Exam. The result is out earlier today and it feels great to see his name in the list of passers. However, I am very devastated to know that my college best buddy didn’t make it. I couldn’t believe it and I have yet to chat with her to know what went wrong. This will be another post and I hope to let this out soon!
