My sister in Japan has a very sad news for me this morning when I woke up. Her dear mother-in-law passed away today, on the same date of my late father’s birthday. I got sad, considering that her mother-in-law was one very special and remarkable woman in their lives. It has been a tough struggle, physically, because her mother-in-law suffered from a brain aneurysm and had a heart problem as well. Now, her husband’s whole family is in mourning. The consoling part of it is the her MIL left them with a funeral insurance. I thought how lucky the family is for having such kind of security after a tough struggle. When my father died 12 years ago, we were left with nothing, and so, it was really hard for us financially.
