Talk about becoming a lawyer I will! Nope, I am not one, although I wanted to be one when I was little. I have this desire to extend a helping hand to the oppressed, to the unheard, to the poor, and to just about everyone who needs legal expertise but couldn’t get one because of inaccessibility. However, my desire to be in a health care field outweighed such want. I didn’t become an attorney, but I am thankful that now, I have friends in the law industry whom I can lean on and who I am sure have the same desires like mine– be the one who’ll stand in a legal battle as long as the victim is right!
The husband’s cousin who passed the Bar exam two years ago has now put up a law office together with his wife who is an attorney herself, too. With them, we can contribute some of our wills to help the oppressed through them.
