Richland, WI Updates
I couldn’t believe I’ve survived the three-day-ordeal of being imprisoned in a hotel! Tonight is going to be our last night here in Richland Center and I can’t wait to be sleeping in our very own bed as the week ends tomorrow. Lol. Don’t get me wrong, our accommodation has been pretty awesome; it’s just that there’s definitely no place like home!
So far, it’s been pretty good! Although the daughter and I are just stuck at the hotel while the husband attends the conference, it’s still a good time for me and Triz because there’s just too much to do, and to learn more especially, when we’re together. I mean, this kid is a bucket of wits and wonders– with so much to ask and so much to discover! I know, I am a blessed mom.
Anyhow, I wanna share a few glimpses of our Richland Center getaway. Although we haven’t toured the local attractions here yet, you can tell by my photos that this place is simply close to nature!
Picture #1– A directory sign of the Univ of Wisconsin Richland Campus, of the very first day we arrived. I must not forget to mention how beautiful the university campus is here compared to what we have in Stevens Point!

Picture #2– Me and the darling daughter at a kiosk at the back of our hotel! We were waiting for the Dad to arrived and as you can see, the back of the hotel has a vast lawn with residential houses afar!
Picture #3– A shot of our Day 3 hop at the Visitor Center here in the area. There’s a train standing up at the back of the building which is a perfect spot for photo opps. Sure enough, the daughter and I never missed to pose! Lol
Tomorrow will be the husband’s last day at the conference and it’s going to be just half of the day and so we’ve planned of hitting the Eagle Cave and the House on the Rock attractions here in the place before driving back to our place. I can’t wait and Triz is so excited to check out the cave! It should be fun!
