Social Security Benefits
Ah… the pain and the joy of living here in Uncle Sam’s land! I mean, you have to labor hard in order to basically live, right? Buy foods, provide shelter for yourself and your family, pay your bills, and pay taxes! Lol. But let’s admit it, it’s not all pain. There’s joy in it as well. When we have to pay for taxes, that includes contribution to the social security benefits that we’ll soon reap once we’re retired. I hope that with what my husband is paying right now, he shall be able to benefit from it once he’s done working. Prayerfully, may he live a longer life so there’ll be more years for him and us to enjoy. This just encourages me more and more that I have to go out soon and work, too, so I can have a social security savings myself which my dependents can benefit as well when the time comes.
