My $50 Worth of Dried Fish
Imported from California (LOL), here’s my one box of three variety of dried fish (yummy Bulad) which will be good for a one-year-supply or two for me and my Bisdak housemates. He he he.
The USPS Priority Mailbox for Wednesday Whites
Thanks to blogger friend Jerla who was kind enough to accommodate my plea and wish. She lives so close to a huge Filipino shopping store in San Diego so getting these for me is a breeze! Thanks to my pregnancy, too. With it, Jerla wasn’t able to say NO to me! Ha ha ha.
Modern shopping this was! Jerla went to the store and took lots of pictures of the variety of Dried Fish and she let me choose the ones that I liked. Talk about today’s modernity of life, eh? Jerla’s iPhone did just that– a Californian shopped in behalf of a shopper in Wisconsin!
And the USPS was fast enough to deliver the goods to me in just 3 days!
And of course, I had to cook a pack a day after it arrived. I did it inside, and the smell lasted for one week before it disappeared. It was a torture, but feasting on the dried fish was absolutely… heaven!
