Public Liability Insurance

Starting a business is tough, isn’t it? I didn’t start one, but I have assisted family members who did, and I have shared in some amount to their needed capital, too. The good news is, those small-scale businesses that my loved ones put up were in my home country Philippines. There, it isn’t too strict when it comes to the necessary documents and requirements that the government ask from you.

But, in many countries, like here in the US, in Europe, and in Australia, I know how tough it is. So much to fulfill because opening your business to the public, and so many responsibilities you are liable for. A friend of mine based in Australia has mentioned how much of a need it was for them to get a public liability insurance so they’ll be safe in their business premises at all times.

She was like, “Oh no! It absolutely isn’t enough that you are employing people and you are responsible for them with their needed benefits. Your business premises should also be safeguarded from any untoward incidents that may happen in the future.” One way to do it is to get a public liability insurance. Indeed, more expenses! But you can’t trade security with anything else, right? So it’s always worth it to get one!
